Your wedding day should be a very personal event, which is why I hesitate to create packages and prefer to customize the day for you. There are some who like to look at a basic guideline to get a starting point so I have taken some time to come up with some packages based on previous weddings I have photographed.   • These sessions are all about having fun, fun and more fun while getting to know each other. I really enjoy photographing the groom and bride before their big day because it gives me a chance to get to know their mannerisms, habits, the way they interact with each other and what makes them laugh. Knowing all of this ahead of time really helps me predict those moments during the ceremony and reception. It also lets the couple get comfortable with me taking their pictures so when we get to the wedding day they aren’t as nervous about being photographed.

  • When the couple and I first meet to discuss their pre-wedding session I try to find out as much as I can about what they like, where they spend most of their time and, most importantly, what they are expecting from this session.

  • I realize that there are traditional ways to shoot engagement sessions, which is fine for some people (and we can definitely do that) but I am finding that most younger couples are opting for a less formal day and would prefer to have these sessions more about their lifestyle rather than just a studio-type photo shoot. Let’s get creative!

  • I was going to say that we should break all the rules of the traditional engagement photography but I truly believe that there are no rules to break and we should just concentrate on capturing “you” in your most comfortable environment. Just because the sunset at a beach is a beautiful scene it doesn’t mean that we have to shoot there. If you don’t like the beach then why would we take photos of you at the beach? We can capture great photos just about anywhere so let’s not concentrate on what has typically worked in the past. Let’s concentrate on what works for you!

     Here are some ideas for your wedding package. As I have stated before, these are just guidelines so there is nothing set in stone and we can (and should) customize the day for you.

 
 

Sterling Package

 

  • Pre-ceremony photos of the bride, bridesmaids, make-up, hair, dress, groom, groomsmen, etc.
  • Photos of ceremony, family in attendance, guests, procession, the kiss, and walk out.
  • Photos of the bride and groom with the family beforeand/or after the ceremony.
  • Reception (introduction, first dance, toasts, cake cutting, reactions, etc.)
  • All photos on a disc (75-100 photos guaranteed)
  • $20 credit towards prints, books, canvases, etc.
  • All photos uploaded to a password-protected gallery for friends and family.

 
 

Gold Package

 

     ALL OF THE STERLING PACKAGE PLUS THE FOLLOWING…

  • Photos at Ceremony Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner.
  • Fully customized 10 page (20 sides) hardcover, layflat-pages photo album.
  • All photos on a disc (125-150 photos guaranteed)
  • Photobooth at reception with attendant and props (2-3 hours).
  • $30 credit towards prints, books, canvases, etc.
  • All photos uploaded to a password-protected gallery for friends and family.

 
 

Platinum Package

  • Pre-Wedding Engagement session.

"Do you provide Proofs and in what format?"

 

a) I can provide proofs of the photos and they can be placed online in a password-protected gallery on my site or I can have them delivered to you in a bound book.

 

"What are the size options for portraits?"

 

a) I offer all the standard sizes: 8×10, 5×7, 4×6, wallets, etc. If you have a custom size that you would like then we can discuss but that request is generally not a problem.

 

"Do you have lighting?"

 

a) Yes, I come with a wireless system so that guests don’t trip over cords.

 

"Do you have Liability Insurance?"

 

a) Yes, I am fully covered.
